| Comments: | I've always been an apaloosa lover, little did I know that we'd own our own someday. Last Spring we became the owner of a Roan Bay gelding named Bubbas Lightennigoer. He is predominantly white with grey mane and tail, a few black and brown spots with brown lightning marks on all four legs and face. Bubba is an all 'round horse he was trained western, and my daughter has done some speed with him at local shows, but she does primarily Hunter Jumper...who'd of thought an apaloosa could excell at jumping? He's won several blue ribbons and reserve champ! He and my daughter show at 2'9", but he clears them with more than a foot to spare! The higher the jump, the more he loves it! Bubba is so easy to love and loves back with the kind and giving way of an apaloosa! PS He also has a fan club at the barn where we board him! |

| Comments: | I do like the looks of your horses. I have a near leopard Mansfield Comanche stallion, a bay roan MC mare, and a solid black MC mare. I love to look other peoples apps and make a "Wish list". I would like to find one or two filly/mares linebred Toby or Red Eagle to go with my stallion, or a stallion to go with my mares. I wonder why no one is my area has any the these bloodlines. |

Im so tired of seeing QH with a little spot somewhere or no characteristics at all being called champion apploosas. Thank you from everyone who loves a spot for preserving such a historical and wonderful breed. I purchased my first appaloosas last summer. A young stallion, a young mare and a 2008 filly. The mare and the stallion are both FAHR elegible and the stallion is F4 ApHCC elegible. The mare has some unknown apploosa ancesters to close to qualify for F4 and the filly unfortunately has a little to much Impressive in her. (Neither registry wants any Impressive blood at all.) If I would have known that I probably wouldnt have taken her! |
